Major Awards of the All European Online Koi Show June 2025
Jury structure and awarding of majors at the show
The awarding of regular majors takes place under the direction of chief judges Ruud Besems and Ronald Stam, on behalf of the APKI jury. This jury consists largely of experts from Indonesia, a country where the koi hobby is at a particularly high level. The judges involved take several days to carefully evaluate each entry and fish by fish.

In addition to the regular awards, Breeders Majors are also awarded. These special awards are determined not by the regular judges, but by leading koi breeders themselves. Each Breeders Major is awarded by one specific breeder. This year, renowned names such as Yagenji, Odakan and Sakai Fish Farm, as well as representatives of leading breeders from China and Poland are among those involved.
