ABKoi Marum lets hobbyist triumph during 1st Koi Show<\/h2>\n

I deliberately added the year because I can’t imagine that this is a one-off event; There are too many smiling faces for that. Peter Boetes and Klaasjan Torenbos have their team in good shape. Having slept on a caravan on the site themselves, they made sure that nothing would be left to chance at the one-day Koi Show in Bakkeveen. <\/p>\n

We will talk about the show in follow-up articles, what counts for now or rather who; is the winner. This first edition, in which only fish from hobbyists were allowed to participate, was won by a hobbyist or rather hobbyists. Rob and Roos experience the hobby together and after a visit to ABKoi they managed to buy a Showa<\/abbr> that was allowed to play in Bakkeveen. A Showa<\/abbr> of 81cm and six years old charmed the couple very much. “I have fallen in love with the fish just as much as I did with Roos back then,” jokes the happy hobbyist who indicates that the jar weighs quite a bit! <\/p>\n
