Tomorrow morning KoiQuestion<\/abbr> will enter Affligem with 5 men strong. Familiar and new faces will be there to do the coverage of this first Koi Show in the Benelux of this year. Photos, interviews, Live on socials; more than happy to take our role as media partner and help you experience the hobby and show to the fullest! I would like to briefly introduce the crew to you.<\/p>\n

\"\"Aaron Ouwejan<\/h4>\n

Aaron has been a loyal cameraman for many years, visiting many a koi dealer and editing koi video; oddly enough, however, he has never been to a Koi Show. So now that is about to change. Aaron, once started at my media agency as an intern, is now part of KoiQuestion<\/abbr> and thus will be the regular cameraman for our club. He is a true professional, so in daily life he is always working on equipment, editing and filming. He is working on his own instructional platform to teach people the various aspects of filmmaking. I really expect to create a lot of cool content with Aaron.<\/p>\n

Jeffrey Klip<\/h4>\n

Jeffrey is of a different caliber. This man has bizarre technical knowledge and great imagination. He is a cybersecurity expert and can fix anything. He always only needs 10 minutes. Jeffrey will make sure that the KoiQuestion<\/abbr> website has several new applications in the near future, the website will become multilingual and will also write regular articles from his perspective such as his recently first published article on the use of camera systems in the koi hobby. <\/a> I think Jeffrey will be particularly interested in the technical aspects surrounding the hobby.<\/p>\n

Tiebo Jacobs<\/abbr><\/strong><\/h4>\n

As the founder of KoiQuestion<\/abbr>, I have carried the pen behind my ear for about 14 years. That’s quite a long time already huh. But since we were less active in the Corona era, I don’t assume everyone knows me. Most people always see me taking the competition photos of the Koi or conducting interviews at a Koi show. As an author for many magazines including the KoiWijzer and co-founder of Koi Academy, I am always concerned with how we can promote knowledge sharing within the hobby. Inspiring and informing; that’s what I stand for and with the news, reporting and background stories, we are going to make KoiQuestion<\/abbr> your go-to portal within the Koi hobby!<\/p>\n

Sem Jacobs<\/h4>\n

After their successful role as volunteers last year, my sons Sem and Boaz’s enthusiasm was not dampened for this edition. There were already plenty of volunteers for benching, something the boys did with great dedication and pleasure last year, but this year I want to see if I can give Sem a further role in filming and photography. During last year’s edition, he was adrift with his phone, yielding good results as far as his smartphone allowed. So this year I want to give him the confidence to practice with a real camera. He is now almost as big or small as his father, and at 15 he may also learn to deal with responsibilities like this.<\/p>\n

\"Biaz<\/p>\n

Boaz Jacobs<\/h4>\n

Boaz is Sem’s younger brother, and at 11 years old, he is the same age I was when I discovered Koi, although of course with him it has been instilled with a lot of maturity. Boaz can really marvel at certain fish and is eager to learn. He likes to help and he has experience tracking for himself. Perhaps we will manage to set up some kind of format to get more of Boaz’s peers interested in Japanese Koi.<\/p>\n

KoiQuestion<\/abbr> really does have other team members, those of yesteryear, volunteers who photograph at the Koi Show whenever it is convenient or edit the photos from home as our back office. Marco, Pascal and Aloeske, Remy and Janine as well as Bram as co-founder remain our Legacy team members. I hope you all get to meet them at a show somewhere this year. As also last year, I would have liked to have Joachim Clement still with us, but he is hiding his time in warmer places this weekend. I am looking forward to being at a koi Show again. To see acquaintances and meet new people and of course most of all to see who will win the big prize of Belgium! <\/a><\/p>\n
