Where to place a Water Cleanser?<\/h4>\n

A moving bed module is an excellent place for the Water Cleanser; as this is where the important (nitrifying) bacteria, which break down ammonium and nitrite, are located. A drum filter is often used before the moving bed filter. The ‘disadvantage’ of a drum filter is that in practice, however, they provide too little dirt (read carbon) for the bacteria, as they sometimes filter too finely.
