Belgian ZNA Koi Show 2024 in Affligem on video
It was perhaps in terms of quality the best Koi show in 10 years. I can recall only one other Koi show in Oldenzaal where a collection of such high quality large Koi beat their orbits in the show vats. It was somewhat to be expected. It may have hung in the air, but that has been true many times. That we thought; “wow, there’s going to be a lot of good fish from that and that one coming to that.” But then it turned out to be living port” and the competition was disappointing after all. This year it was right. And that may not be entirely coincidental. Of course, this is now the second edition that the Koi2000 is breathing life into together with the Belgian Koi Society.

And that means they have now shown, already in their first edition, that they have the conditions for the snubbed swimmers well under control; that the show is well set up and well supervised. There is always a Koidokter like in this case the from Belgium Tim Barbé present and of course the conditions are well controlled and monitored plus of course a refreshment system. That led to people, hobbyists and dealers entrusting this year’s organization to be a babysitting station for their capital Koi for the weekend.
